The 1959 AJS Model 14 is a 250cc single-cylinder "lightweight" motorcycle. It was the AJS-badged version of the Matchless G2, sharing almost all mechanical components. The "Lightweight" Series: Launched in late 1958, the Model 14 was designed as a more affordable, easier-to-handle alternative to AJS's heavyweight singles.
