1941 Harley Davidson Model 41WL Knucklehead.
WW2 special order for SA Union Defence Force.

Only a very few details are known about the 1941 contract for Military Motorcycles for the South African Union Defense Forces.
This, the 41WL model was basically the godfather of the later WLA and WLC models produced and used extensively, elsewhere in WW2.
Only 1000 of this particular model were produced and sent to SA.
When the Union Defense forces joined the British forces they were used extensively in East Africa, Madagascar and during the North Africa Campaign of World War 2.
